MTech Steam Earthquake Simulator

STEAM Earthquake Simulator

The STEAM Earthquake Simulator is a STEAM science kit that allows you to build structures and test which ones withstand an earthquake, learning by hand instead of just reading about the subject.

In Chile, earthquakes are a part of life, and understanding why some buildings withstand them while others don't is particularly relevant. This kit allows you to build structures, activate the simulator, and check in seconds which design will hold up.

Benefits and skills it helps to develop

• Logical thinking following the assembly sequence and checking results.
• The scientific method involves formulating a hypothesis, testing it, and observing what happens.
• Understanding seismology by observing how movement affects different structures.
• Fine motor skills when manipulating and assembling small pieces.
• Concentration and patience during the construction process.
• Interest in science by connecting the game with real phenomena.

Characteristics

• STEAM line science and experimentation kit.
• It includes a platform that simulates seismic movements.
• It includes the simulator platform and the construction pieces.
• Step-by-step instructions for assembly and experimentation.
• Ideal for school science fairs and activities at home.
• Recommended age: from 7 years old.

The STEAM Earthquake Simulator is an excellent option to awaken scientific curiosity and transform an abstract concept into something that can be seen and touched.
